Little Snowmen

I also made a couple of little snowmen for another CAL at Crochetville. I designed these myself. It's the first time I made anything stuffed, and designed anything stuffed! I really like the way they came out. If I get my butt in gear I will post the pattern here.

I think I like beads for the eyes on the santa snowman instead of making a knot with thread. I got the idea for the beads and the nose from AJ (from Crochetville). She designed a small nowman as well and has posted the pattern on her blog. Her blog is listed in my Blogs section. It's called "this life of mine".

I just love snowmen!

That snowman to the left of the santa snowman is a jar I painted. It's a recycled French Onion Dip jar. I made it last year. I plan on putting a candle in it.

Did I mention I love snowmen! LOL

It's Finally Finished!

I'm sorry for not posting more often. I guess I'm just not used to Blogging very much.

I finally finished the Holiday Mystery CAL. I finished it a day or two before Christmas. It was really fun to make. I added all the bead stuff first but then it took me awhile to do the holly leaves, not that it was a lot of work, I just got busy doing other stuff and kept putting it off.
I'm going to try and post more often! See ya

Holiday Mystery CAL

Here's what we've done so far of the Holiday Mystery CAL. I'm doing a lot better on this one than the last one I did for Halloween. I think its going to turn out really well. I can't wait to get it finished.
I think I might know what it is!

6 Day Charity Square-A-Long

Here's the squares I made for the 6 Day Charity Square-A-Long from Nov. 16th to the 21st.

I made a total of 40 squares, 30 of the white and pale rose and 10 of the navy blue and grey.

I have to make about 20 more of the navy blue ones to make a lapghan. I'm still connecting the white and pale rose squares. I'm in the middle of the Holiday Mystery CAL among a few other things right now so it might take me a little while to finish them.

3 Day Charity Square-A-Long

I'm sorry I haven't posted in awhile. This was the blanket I made
for the 3 Day Charity Square-A-Long at Crochetville back in
October. I'm going to donate it to the local dog shelter.
That's my cute little puppy in the picture. He's a Jack Russell Terrier (the short leg version). His name Hunter and he is full of energy!

Finished Rectangle Granny CAL

I finally finished the rectangle granny I was
working on. I didn't work on it for a while.
I was working on a couple of baby ponchos for my

niece and some mittens for my son (first time) that aren't finished yet and other things. I think I got a little bored with it. But I found someone who was having a boy (my niece's boyfriends sister) and she was in town this weekend so I hurried up and finished it for her along with a hat to match. They really liked it. It was nice to
give it to someone who needed it.

Halloween Mystery CAL

Here are the pictures from the CAL that I'm doing. I forgot to post them when I started. We only got a few rows of the pattern each day so we wasn't sure what it was at first.

But now I think you can tell what it is!

I've never done anything like this before, I always thought they were too complicated but it turned out to be fun! I might have to try a different pattern now :)

I'll probably make mine into a pillow or something for one of the kids to have.

Happy Halloween!

My 2nd Newborn Baby Poncho

Here's the second poncho I made. It took a little while to make the squares and join them (plus working on other stuff), and all those ends to weave in ..yuk. But I like the end result. I still have another to make for my nephew's little girl.

Here is something I made for my niece's little baby girl.

It's my first poncho I've ever made. I wanted to add a flower but I ran out of time. My niece liked it a lot. I plan on making another baby poncho made with small granny squares in pink and white. I'll post a picture when I get that done.
